Sean raced in the Avon Tyres Clubmans Championship and the beginning of the season and then moved up to the UK Formula Ford Championship with the following results:
Avon Tyres Clubman’s Championship - 2nd at Donington Park

Sean then moved up to the full UK Championship competing in 10 races with 7 top ten finishes with the following results :
2nd & 3rd places, and 1st & 2nd place in class (Guest Driver)
